Can I Change My Number To Talk Home Mobile?

Modified on Wed, 17 Dec at 10:53 AM

Yes, you can keep your existing mobile number when you switch to Talk Home Mobile.

Follow the steps below to transfer your number successfully.

Step 1: Order Your FREE Talk Home SIM

Start by ordering a FREE Talk Home SIM card from our website.

Please note: You can only begin the number transfer process after you have received your new SIM card.

Step 2: Get Your PAC Code from Your Current Network

To transfer your existing number, you’ll need a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from your current provider.

  1. Send the word PAC by text message to 65075 or contact your provider.

Make sure to keep this code safe, as you will need it to complete the transfer.

Important: The PAC request must be made using your old SIM, not the Talk Home SIM.

Step 3: Activate Your Talk Home SIM Card

Once you have your PAC code:

  1. Insert your Talk Home SIM card into your phone
  2. Switch on your device to activate the SIM

Your Talk Home SIM will initially activate with a temporary number. This is normal and will be replaced with your existing number once the porting process is completed.

Step 4: Transfer Your Mobile Number to Talk Home

After your Talk Home SIM is active:

  1. Visit the Porting Details page on our website
  2. Enter your PAC code
  3. Select a date to initiate the transfer

You may experience temporary or intermittent service from both your old network and Talk Home while the number transfer is in progress. For this reason, we recommend choosing a day that is convenient for you.

Once the transfer is complete:

  • Restart your phone with the Talk Home SIM inserted
  • Your existing number should now be live on the Talk Home network

That’s It — You’re All Set

Your number has now been successfully moved to Talk Home Mobile. If you experience any issues or need assistance at any stage, our customer support team is available to help.
